Child Safety Standards

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAE), and any attempt to groom or sexually solicit a minor. The prohibition is absolute and admits no exception or context.

• The platform is intended for adults (18 and over), as stated in our Terms of Use.
• We do not ask for or verify age or date of birth, so we make no claim to prevent minors technically.
• If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we remove it. No content is directed at children.

• Posts, questions, answers and comments are screened automatically before they appear, and anything that breaches policy is withheld pending human review.
• Businesses, events and guides are reviewed by staff before publication.
• Any member can report content, a message, a conversation or an account, and reports reach the review team.
• Any member can block another member at any time, and blocking stays available even during a sanction.

• In the app: use the “Report” action on posts, messages and accounts.
• By email: write to privacy@teamsyria.com and we will act on the report promptly.
• If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.

• We remove the content immediately.
• We suspend or permanently delete the account responsible.
• We report to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Canadian law enforcement, where the company is based, as required by law.
• We preserve evidence needed for investigation to the extent the law permits and requires.
